If you haven't yet, picture yourself on one of New Jersey's beautiful beaches, enjoying the sun, the warm water, the gentle breezes, and the sand between your toes. The only thing missing is the swarms of summer beach goers invading your private beach space and plopping down right next to you.
If you love the beach like I do, but can do without the usual summer crowd, which seems even bigger this year, then this list of little known beaches from a recent article from Only In Your State should come in handy!

Stone Harbor Point
You can walk, but not swim, in the conversation area at Stone Harbor Point. Get ready to take pictures of the stunning wildlife! By the way, you'll need a badge and no dogs are permitted on the beach.

Pearl Beach
Located at Cape May Point. Pearl Beach is one of the least crowded beaches in Cape May, according to USA Today.
Beach tags are required and lifeguards are present during the summer months. Pearl Beach is located next to Sunset Beach, where you'll find more of a summer crowd.

Diamond Beach
You can have private access to this beautiful beach if you're a guest of the Icona Resorts.

Strathmere
Another stunning secluded beach. Strathmere is located in Cape May County. This is one of a few beaches in the Garden State that's absolutely FREE!
Lifeguards are stationed during the season from Seaview Ave. South and Nelson Ave.

Good news pet lovers, this secret secluded beach in Brigantine is dog friendly! Getting there can be quite an adventure though. North End Beach is located three miles from the nearest roads.
No swimming is allowed, but be sure to have your phone ready for some amazing photos!
