In a development being celebrated by lobsters everywhere, the Red Lobster seafood restaurant chain is dangerously close to going bankrupt.
Red Lobster Restaurant Chain Crippled by Shrimp Promotion Losses
Red Lobster reportedly finds itself in this sorry set of circumstances because they gave away too many shrimps and didn't charge enough for them.
Because the 'Ultimate Endless Shrimp' promotion resulted in financial hardship for the company, more than 50 Red Lobsters have already closed in the last month alone.
And with a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing now officially a matter of court record, Red Lobster is getting more specific about the 125 locations they could be forced to close in the near future, and three of them are in New Jersey, Patch.com reports.

Of the 12 still operating in New Jersey, here are the Red Lobster restaurants in imminent danger of closing for good: Two are in South Jersey, one is in North Jersey.

Mays Landing, NJ (Black Horse Pike)
Paramus, NJ (Route 17)
According to Patch.com, if the above trio of Red Lobster restaurants in New Jersey do close, it won't be right away. They're reportedly remain open while the company's bankruptcy process plays out. Stay tuned.
