2-Year-Old Struck and Killed in Waterford Works
A heartbreaking tragedy took place in Waterford Works when a 2-year-old little girl was hit by a vehicle and died of her injuries.
The accident happened early afternoon on Monday, January 18 on the 1800 block of Brisbee Ave. in Waterford Works, Camden County, Courier Post reports.
The toddler's injuries were severe, and she died after being airlifted to a nearby hospital, according to Waterford Twp. Police.

Police have not released the name of the child or the name of the driver. There are not yet details surrounding the circumstances of the accident, or if the driver remained on the scene, but an investigation is ongoing.
There are no condolences deep enough to pass along to this little girl's family. Their lives are forever changed. Our thoughts are with the toddler's family and friends and the entire Waterford Works community.
A very good childhood friend of mine was hit by a car and died when she was just 14 and I still of her all the time. It's days like this that the pain becomes so fresh again.
