Authorities in Camden County are looking to identify the personal responsible for shooting a 2-year-old toddler over the weekend.

The shooting may have taken place during an attempted robbery on Chestnut Ave. in Woodlynne around 7:30 p.m. Saturday night, 6abc.com reports.

A man and the toddler were in a vehicle when three men reportedly approached demanding cash. Then, gunfire erupted, wounding the driver and child. The 2-year-old was shot in the foot. Both were taken to an area hospital to be treated for their injuries, which were not thought to be life-threatening.
