When you think of rooftop bars, you probably envision them atop a skyscraper or hotel. But it turns out not all of the ones that exist in the Garden State are relegated to a major metropolitan city.

By city and by sand, there are many chic, swanky rooftop bars in New Jersey like the ones you might find in Philadelphia or New York City for when you're feeling bougie. But on the flip other rooftop bars are more chill. Options exist, too, for when your and your besties find yourselves in full-on party mode.

The one thing I do notice, however, is that Jersey, especially at the shore points, needs MORE rooftop bars. I'm seriously surprised there aren't more to discover than the dozen I'm highlighting for you below.
