New Jersey’s 2 Best Towns for Having a Celebrity Encounter

Do you love it when you see or hear about a big celebrity spending time in the Garden State? New research shows New Jersey's two best towns for spotting someone famous!

There have been a bunch of celebrity sightings in New Jersey lately, the most high-profile being actors Edward Norton and Timothee Chalamet in Cape May where they were filming A Complete Unknown, a biopic based on the life of Bob Dylan.

With more and more film and television projects on location in the Garden State we shouldn't be surprised to catch a glimpse of the rich and famous every now and again.

I'm surprised by the New Jersey town recently crowned by BetUS as the top town to spot a celebrity, but perhaps I shouldn't be. Also, I kind of didn't know it WAS actually considered a town in NJ until now.

I mean, BetUS's reasoning seems to be based on the fact that actor B.J. Novak of The Office fame was once seen in the town.

Two New Jersey towns made BetUS's Top 20 Cities & Destinations to Spot a Celebrity Worldwide. The one in South Jersey is the one that surprised me, but the one in North Jersey did not.

The Top 2 New Jersey Towns Best for Spotting a Celebrity

According to BetUS, the Barclay section of Cherry Hill in Camden County is the best town in all of New Jersey to spot a celeb, and #12, in fact, in their overall list.

The aforementioned B.J. Novak was reportedly seen dining at The Kibitz Room Jewish deli and restaurant off Springdale Road.

As I mentioned, maybe I shouldn't be surprised that Barclay made the list. After all, Cherry Hill is home to MonsterMania which brings hundreds of celebrities to the town twice a year for a fan convention. And they have to eat somewhere, right?

The North Jersey town that also made BetUS's worldwide list (coming in at #14) is Brookdale in Essex County which is not far from Manhattan, New York.
