A story still developing at this hour, the Atlantic City Fire Department and Coast Guard are reportedly searching for a 10-year old boy swept away by strong currents off the city's ocean waters early Sunday evening.      

     According to 6abc.com, the young swimmer from Philadelphia was last seen in the surf between Kentucky Avenue and Martin Luther King Boulevard in Atlantic City.  Rescuers were able to pull the boy's stepmother and stepsister to safety; his father was unable to reach him as the tides pulled him away.  The family was swimming at approximately 7 p.m.--one hour past lifeguard duty.
