The 18th Annual National Women's Health Week is May 14 -May 20.  Led by U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the goal is to empower women to make their health a priority.

     The Department of Health’s website offers lots of useful information including steps for better health based on age.They encourage women to get their checkups and preventive screenings and provide tips to be more active and eat healthier.  They also want us to  pay attention to mental health avoid unhealthy behaviors such as smoking, excessive alcohol consumption or texting while driving.
