Geeks unite! Your favorite comic books, toys, and celebrities will meet in South Jersey.

Comic Con is coming to the Atlantic City Convention Center May 14-17 (titled Atlantic City Boardwalk Con).  Even if you're not into comic books, this 'convention' is more of a party.  Most of the people who attend dress up as their favorite super heroes and villains.  Big money is on the line with the costume contests that make any Halloween costume contest look amateur.

Numerous celebrities have come to comic con to sign autographs and have Q and A sessions with their fans.  The celebrity guests that will be coming to Atlantic City will include: Marvel Comic book legend Stan Lee, who will do a special one-on-one stage interview with filmmaker and comic book writer Kevin Smith; Michael Rooker of "The Walking Dead" and "Guardians of the Galaxy"; and Manu Bennett of "Arrow," "Spartacus" and "The Hobbit." Marvel Entertainment, Boom! Studios, Aspen Comics, Zenescope and Top Cow will be among the publishers. Marvel Comics is the company behind such popular comics and movies as Spider-Man, the Avengers and the Fantastic Four.  (Press of Atlantic City)

Whether you're into movies, games, comics, movie props, or costumes; Boardwalk Con will be an experience.  I should know, I've been to Comic Cons in New York, San Diego, and Philadelphia.  I wore a costume to two out of three of those conventions. I didn't look at a single comic book, because everybody wanted pictures with my group of friends (who were also all dressed up).  Trust and believe me, this is a party you don't want to miss.
