Second Ocean City Comic Con Coming to Music Pier This Spring

Thanks to the success of last year's convention, a second Ocean City Comic Con has been announced for 2017!

According to the Press of Atlantic City and OCNJ.com, this year’s Comic Con will take place April 1st & 2nd at The Music Pier on the Ocean City Boardwalk. Tickets will go up for sale on Wednesday March 1^st!

Headlining the event will be Billy Dee Williams who played Lando Calrissian in two “Star Wars” movies in the 80’s and in various “Star Wars” video games and animated shows. Seth Gilliam who plays Father Gabriel Stokes from “The Walking Dead” will also make an appearance at the event.

Over the years, Comic Cons have significantly grown in size and popularity, piquing the interests of millions who want to immerse themselves in their favorite fantasy worlds. Fans and participators come to spend time with like-minded folks with similar interests and strut their stuff in intricately designed cosplay costumes – many of which are pretty freaking amazing.

Last year’s convention was a success, with discussion panels, costume contests, meet-the-artist sessions, a Super Hero Run, and comic book sale displays. Now with this year’s two headlining guests, it’s shaping up to be even better than last year.

Tickets will be $10 for one day and $15 for two days for adults; and $5 for one day and $8 for two days for kids 12 and under. Registration for the Super Hero Mile Run is $15 in advance and $20 day-of for adults; and $10 for kids 12 and under. The Super Hero Obstacle Dash for kids is $10.
