A 28-year-old woman was stabbed at a South Jersey apartment complex, reportedly by someone she knew.

Winslow Police responded to a disturbance call at Tamerlane Apartments in Sicklerville approximately 1 a.m. Friday morning where they found Kemisha Hymon bleeding badly from a stab wound to her abdomen, Courier Post reports. Officers administered first aid to Hymon until she was stabilized and taken to Cooper Medical Center for treatment, but there was no update on the extent of her injuries.

29-year-old Kiante Collins, the victim's ex-boyfriend, was arrested for the stabbing, according to Gloucester City News. He has been charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault and weapons offenses. He remains in police custody pending a court hearing.
