No, we didn't see an itsy bitsy spider, but there was one heck of a waterspout over Cumberland County Sunday afternoon.

The weather phenomenon reportedly formed over Delaware Bay, according to 6abc.com. Boaters off the coast of Fortescue caught the waterspout in a mesmerizing photo.

According to Wikipedia, a waterspout is described 'as an intense columnar vortex (usually appearing in the shape of a funnel cloud) that occurs over a body of water.' Most waterspouts do not suck up water. They are small and weak rotating columns of air over water.
