If you're having issues with sending texts this morning, you're not alone.

According to DownDetector.com, all of South Jersey (well, more like all of NJ in general) is experiencing issues with their iPhones and various devices. According to their Verizon data outage map, it's showing a rise in error reports beginning early this morning with a huge spike at the start of the 8 a.m. hour.

After 8 a.m., it began affecting pretty much the entire East Coast with reports of issues coming in from Florida all the way up through Boston. That's when Twitter started to fire shots at Verizon Wireless. Check some out below:

The issue is mainly with sending and receiving text messages, particularly SMS messages. Needless to say, people are NOT happy. It's a huge inconvenience, so people are now even expressing their frustration on the comments of Verizon's most recent tweet (which has nothing to do with the outage).

App.com reports that Verizon has responded to a few people on Twitter saying that their techs are "working non-stop" to solve the issue.

***UPDATE*** - Issue is reportedly fixed as of the early 9 a.m. hour, however some people are still experiencing some issues. Looks like they're working to have all issues handled before lunchtime EST.
