UPDATE: Shake Shack & Monmouth Rest Stop Opening At 2 PM Today

UPDATE: According to APP.com, the brand new Monmouth rest stop and Shake Shack will open at 2 PM on Wednesday, May 22nd!

And the signs continue that Summer is around the corner.

There has been a lot of talk about the restaurants coming to the newly renovated Monmouth rest stop. One of the most talked about is Shake Shack because it will be the first location to open in both Monmouth and Ocean counties.

Well fans, we have good news. This Shake Shack along with the Monmouth service area building is set to open sometime this Wednesday! (aka May 22nd)

Unfortunately we don't have an exact time but if you drive by and have a few minutes, try and stop in!

The new rest stop will also have an Auntie Anne's, a Starbucks, a Zmart, and  Sunoco fuel stations that are already opened!

I am dying to see what the final rest stop looks like because this project cost of $11 million so it better be top notch!
