Truck Stuck In Ocean Water Off North Wildwood Beach

A dump truck being operated by a construction worker off the shores of North Wildwood became submerged in Atlantic Ocean waters this morning.

Details are still unfolding as to how the truck came to be lodged in the water, driver in tow, between the 3rd and 5th street beach. 

A rescue call was made approximately 9:30 this morning.  The driver was removed and taken to safety.  It was determined he was uninjured and required no medical attention.  Crews are on the scene attempting to pull the truck back onto land.
