For the third time in as many months, there's been a shark encounter at the Jersey Shore. This time, it's along the sands of Cape May, NJ.

For the second time in two months, reports of Great White shark sightings have been reported along the Jersey Shore. This time, off the coast of Sea Isle City, NJ.

Visitors to a small lake in New Jersey got a surprise this week when they spotted a shark swimming in the water.

Sharks attacking dolphins, or at least trying to, probably happens quite a bit and we never even know about it. Nonetheless, a visitor to one South Jersey beach over the weekend snapped a picture which might indicate sharks are getting extra hungry.

UPDATE: The 3,500-pound great white, known as Mary Lee was recorded Friday morning just north of Brigantine. That's according to the nonprofit OCEARCH.

According to NBC Philadelphia, a pair of fishermen spotted and videotaped a great white shark circling their boat off the coast of Atlantic City on Sunday.

Ironically it is "Shark Week" on the Discovery Channel, and South Jersey gets a shark sighting Wednesday night in Ocean City.
