Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, and Katy Perry turned out some stellar performances Sunday night, but the 29th Annual MTV Video Music Awards got off to a rough start (is Miley for real??!!) with lackluster numbers from Lady Gaga and Robin Thicke.  But whose performance failed most to live up to the hype?
