Authorities say a patient at a rehab facility in Ocean County is in critical condition after being assaulted by two certified nursing assistants.

Antonio Caprara, 26, of Beachwood was headed south in the shoulder of the Garden State Parkway near Exit 81 (Lakehurst Road) in Toms River on a motorcycle and collided with a dirt bike in the acceleration ramp.

The decision comes after several closures of the beach due to fecal matter.

The DEP coordinates daily tests of 217 ocean, river and bay beaches along the Jersey Shore.

Andrew Fantasia, of Beachwood, was indicted by a grand jury in Ocean County on criminal sexual contact, possession of child pornography and other charges.
