New Plans Have Been Announced For The Beachwood, NJ Mall
According to Patch, some pretty exciting changes are coming to Beachwood and a big step forward was made the other night at the town council meeting.
To be fair, a plan has been in the works for a few years to improve Beachwood Plaza and you can read more on that here.
The new construction includes a lot of new stores, and a fast food place, and will do a lot to kind of clean up the sad-looking strip mall.
Part of the plan for Beachwood Plaza also involves extending Western Boulevard to make it easier for people to navigate in and out of the Plaza, a plan that was approved at last night's meeting.

Otherwise, the traffic would be more of a nightmare than it already is in that area!
The coolest thing though that's planned for the Beachwood Plaza in my opinion has to be the car wash.
My wife and I have lived in Seaside Heights for the past two years, and getting over to a car wash takes up basically an entire afternoon.
Between finding the time on the weekend to fight our way through traffic and then waiting in line it really is a process.

We're moving to Ocean Gate in a couple of weeks which is right down the road from this Plaza so the idea of another car wash option gets me very excited.
The car wash was introduced at the latest town council meeting, but there's no word on whether it'll be a self-wash car wash or full service.
Speaking of big changes, here are some of the stores we'd love to see open at the Ocean County Mall.
