South Jersey’s Least Favorite Thanksgiving Side Dish is Kind of Surprising
Think South Jersey's least favorite is Brussels sprouts or green bean casserole? Think again.
Yesterday, I posed the question on the wall of the SoJO Facebook fan page, and I was totally surprised by the most popular answer!
The side dish that makes me say, 'Thanks, but no thanks.' is FOR SURE green beans or anything to do with root vegetables, namely turnips and parsnips. But it seems most of you can't stand CRANBERRIES! Fresh or jellied cranberry sauce gives South Jersey the creeps, lol.
I LOVE cranberry sauce, but it has to be homemade. That's how I make mine, and I can't get enough of it, cold or warmed through.
Other side dishes you skip most are turkey and mashed potatoes. Who knew?!
