A South Jersey woman faced serious injuries after she fell off a boat and was run over in Ocean City Saturday.

Now, initially I assumed this happened in New Jersey's Ocean City. This isn't to say that it makes the situation less horrific, but whenever something is close to home I immediately panic, especially considering I was just jet skiing in Ocean City two weeks ago.

So to clear any sort of confusion, this occurred in Ocean City, MARYLAND.

Natalya Potsurko of Pennsauken Township (yes, in South Jersey) was reportedly standing on the bow of a rented pontoon boat, July 30 according to The Daily Journal.

The boat hit a wake, and she fell overboard. When Natalya fell, she was struck by the boat's propeller. Yikes!

Sadly, she is now suffering from severe facial and leg injuries. The Daily Journal adds, she reportedly wasn't wearing a life jacket nor can she swim.

She is currently at Penn Hospital in Philadelphia for specialized treatment.

As for the man operating the boat, Nicholas James Gilbert, is being charged with 'negligent operation of a vessel,' which is punished with a fine of $320.
