South Jersey School Librarian Calls Student Her ‘Hot Boyfriend’
A 38-year-old school librarian in the Kingsway School District is under investigation for misconduct and endangering the welfare of a child. Kimberly Pinkham has been charged by the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office after a three-month-long investigation into her relationship with a 14-year-old student.
According to prosecutors, Pinkham called the student her "hot boyfriend." The investigation involved the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office, the Woolwich Township Police Department, and the Kingsway School District.
Pinkham was found with the 14-year-old laying on the floor of the school's media center, with the lights off, looking at each other.
The librarian had photos of the student on her desk and exchanged messages with him including ones which said, "I love you," according to Patch.com.
These charges come after Pinkham surrendering herself to the prosecutor's office back in May and being suspended without pay back in February.
