Once in a while you might see a seal lounging along the shore, but not in a fresh water creek!

Michele Castagne of Burlington County lives along the Rancocas Creek.  He sees fish and river otters on his dock, but a seal? Never.  Until now.

We don't have a name for him, we just know he's definitely far from home.

Just in case you happen to see a seal on the shore, you are urged to keep a safe distance away from it.  They are considered a protected mammal, and harming or disturbing it could lead to a hefty fine.
