South Jersey Man Gets DWI After Trying To Run Over Rooster in Key West

A Cinnaminson resident was arrested in Key West after trying to run over a rooster with a golf cart while drunk. The rooster? Oh, he's fine.

34-year-old Daniel H. Jones was chasing the rooster through Bahama Village on Friday night, when the golf cart completely rolled over. He and the 2 passengers in the cart were flown out the cart (for the lack of a better word).

Unfortunately, the woman in the cart suffered a chipped tooth and skinned knees.

The rooster on the other hand crossed the street, unscathed.

Now, why did Daniel think this was a great idea? Probably because his blood-alcohol contest was 0.25% - reportedly 3x the legal limit in Key West.

Jones was taken into custody, and jailed on suspicion of driving under the influence, says Philly.com. He was released on his own recognizance the next day.
