There was a time when three dollars a gallon for gas was absurd.  Today, it's a dream come true just to see prices fall below three dollars a gallon!

Believe it or not, our friends at gasbuddy believe that gas prices will indeed drop in South Jersey after Labor Day.

According to the Press of Atlantic City, 'Prices in Atlantic and Cape May counties plummeted 17 cents in a month amid more North American refinery output and crude oil production and less gasoline demand.

The average gallon of regular gas in the region cost $3.39 on Monday, according to AAA’s Daily Fuel Gauge Report.

Experts believe that the gas prices will continue to go down, at a much faster rate than expected.

Granted, this could all change if a hurricane hits the Gulf of Mexico.  Not that I'm jinxing anything, just saying.
