Two teenagers were wounded and one teen was arrested Thursday night after Atlantic City Police officers responded to a shots-fired call on the 47th floor of the hotel tower at Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City.

Officers responded to the almost-top floor of Trump Taj Mahal just after 11:00 Thursday night after receiving a call about gunshots being fired. Responding officers located a crime scene on the hotel floor but no victims.

ACPD was then notified that a 16-year-old male entered ARMC-City with an apparent gunshot wound. Shortly after that, a second 16-year-old male entered the medical center, also with an apparent gunshot wound. Both injuries to the juveniles are considered non-life threatening.

Following an investigation, a 17-year-old Atlantic City resident was arrested after being found in possession of a handgun in the unit block south of Virginia Avenue. Officers were able to link the shots-fired call at Trump Taj Mahal with the two gunshot victims at ARMC-City.

Police say their investigation in this incident is not complete and more people could face charged at a later date. Anyone with information is urged to call police at (609) 347-5788.
