Selena Gomez has reportedly been hospitalized after suffering an emotional breakdown.

On Wednesday (October 10), also known as Mental Health Awareness Day, a source told Entertainment Tonight that the pop star "wasn't feeling well and went to the hospital, as she does whenever she feels off."

"Selena has dealt with depression for a while and her and the people around her have always kept an eye on how she feels, even more so since her kidney transplant ... After further monitoring it was decided that Selena would seek treatment at a [mental health] facility," the source added.

The "Taki Taki" singer is believed to be currently receiving treatment for dialectical behavior at a psychiatric facility on the East Coast.

TMZ reports that this is the singer's third time seeking treatment over the past few weeks, following two recent stints at a Los Angeles hospital after she allegedly suffered issues stemming from her 2017 kidney transplant to treat Lupus.

In September, Gomez announced a hiatus from social media to "step back and live [her] life present to the moment [she has] been given."
