Rowan University Receives Bomb Threat, School Evacuated
Rowan University in Glassboro was evacuated Tuesday afternoon after the campus reportedly receiving a bomb threat.

Anyone with information about the bomb threat is asked to call Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office at 856-881-1500. Anonymous tips can be provided by texting GLASSPD and your tip to 847411 (Tip411) or by emailing tips@co.gloucester.nj.us

It must have been a scary situation for students and faculty asked to leave their classrooms and offices after hearing word of the bomb threat around 12 p.m., Patch.com reports.
Details are still developing, but Rowan's official Twitter page tweeted earlier this afternoon, "Please evacuate all Rowan University campuses immediately. There is a bomb threat under investigation. More information to come."

In particular, the threat may have been made directly to Rowan Medicine on the Glassboro campus, as an additional tweet advised everyone to keep away from that building off Tanyard Rd.
