It must have been a scary situation for students and faculty asked to leave their classrooms and offices after hearing word of the bomb threat around 12 p.m., Patch.com reports.

Details are still developing, but Rowan's official Twitter page tweeted earlier this afternoon, "Please evacuate all Rowan University campuses immediately. There is a bomb threat under investigation. More information to come."

In particular, the threat may have been made directly to Rowan Medicine on the Glassboro campus, as an additional tweet advised everyone to keep away from that building off  Tanyard Rd.

As of 12:30 p.m., there was no indication the situation had been resolved. We will continue to keep you posted as this story develops and emplore anyone in the Rowan U Glassboro campus area to be safe.
