Rowan Swim Team Drafts 12-Year-Old Boy from Sicklerville
Rowan University's Swim team drafted their newest member: a blind 12-year-old boy from Sicklerville.
It's official! Jayden Karge signed the "letter of intent" on Tuesday to become part of Rowan's Swim team.
Thanks to a non-profit called Team Impact, which helps improve the quality of life for seriously ill children, Jayden was able to join the team.
Although he is legally blind, and may need a liver transplant* due to his illness, nothing is stopping him from showing up to swim practices and meets.
