Pleasantville Man Faces Murder Charges on Stabbing and Strangling a Man
Authorities on Wednesday are reporting that they found a body in a Vineland apartment building early Tuesday morning.
A man has since been arrested and charged of multiple counts.
Pleasantville resident Floyd Freeman, 47, has been charged with murder along with hindering apprehension, weapons charges, and tampering with evidence in the killing of 55 year-old Millville man William Coralluzzo.
Police found the body at around 11 a.m. in the apartment on South 7th Street.
Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said that Coralluzzo was strangled first then stabbed multiple times. There hasn't been any discovery yet as to the cause of the murder in the first place.
Officials say Freeman apparently asked someone for help and to hide the knife that was used to kill Coralluzzo. He also gave a different name to the police when being questioned, which is where the hindering apprehension charge comes in.
Police are still investigating, but if you have any information you are urged to call police at 856-691-4111 ext. 4157.
