The Phillies have added another bat.

The team has added Nick Castellanos lineup, sources familiar with the deal tell ESPN, with a five-year $100 million contact.

The 30-year-old hit .309 with 34 homers and 100 RBI in 138 games in 2021 and will look very nice in the middle of the Phillies lineup.

This should answers the question to what the Phillies plan to do with Kyle Schwarber, who signed with the Phillies on Wednesday. He will likely hit leadoff with Castellanos now on board

The 2021 All-Star will likely hit behind Bryce Harper and play left field with Schwarber being the DH.
