The Philadelphia Eagles are saying 'thanks but no thanks' to Nike for a 2012 uniform upgrade.  All NFL team uniforms were given a complete overhaul right down to logos and fabric technology, but players and owners in Philly have exercised their right of refusal... and will continue to hit the field with nothing new but the Nike swoosh in place on their jerseys.

The new, lightweight, more breathable fabric unveiled by Nike this week would help to keep the players from feeling weighed down especially when wet.

The Green Bay Packers also declined the switch, but Seattle and the other professional football teams in the league are embracing Nike's new vision.  So get ready for a lot of trying to figure out who's who this 2012-2013 NFL season.
