Paris Jackson Attempts Suicide [UPDATE]

New details are coming to light after it was revealed and confirmed today that the 15-year old daughter of late King of Pop Michael Jackson was hospitalized following a possible suicide attempt.

The incident reportedly took place around 2 a.m. PST this morning.  According to StarCrush.com,  Paris Jackson was placed in an ambulance on a stretcher and taken to a local hospital.

The person who had called 911 allegedly told the operator Paris had overdosed, but a source at TMZ claims Jackson had “multiple cuts on one of her wrists.”

Disturbing reports now indicate that Jackson wrote and left a suicide note before using a meat cleaver to cut herself, says StarCrush.

Paris had phoned a suicide hotline, and a counselor there contacted 911. Jackson was reportedly treated for a self-induced injury after she sliced on her right forearm (which required “numerous stitches”).

In addition to cutting herself, the teen also reportedly downed a high number of ibruprofen pills. The contents of the note she wrote have not yet been disclosed.

Paris Jackson is the daughter Michael Jackson shared with Debbie Rowe.  She is the middle child between brothers Prince Michael and Blanket.

She is currently doing okay, according to a source, but remains under a 72-hour psychiatric hold.
