One Dead From 5-Car Crash In Egg Harbor Twp.

A man driving an Atlantic County Utility Authority truck was killed when he struck a another vehicle at the intersection of Fernwood and West Jersey Avenues in Egg Harbor Township Wednesday afternoon.

NBC40.com reports a BMW being driven by 36-year old Igor Ilijowski of Brigantine ran a stop sign before being hit by two separate vehicles and flipping and coming to rest at the intersection.  His passenger was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division.  The driver of the utility pickup truck, 57-year old Richard Bourginon of Port Republic was pronounced dead at the same medical facility.

Police say two of the three other vehicles involved int he crash also sustained significant damage.
