Ocean Resort Casino Atlantic City Brings Jamie Foxx to Opening Weekend Party
We are only just a few days away from the opening of the Ocean Resort Casino and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City.
Owner Bruce Deifik announced that the actor and comedian Jamie Foxx is set to host the Ocean Resort Casino's first weekend open.
But before we get to June 28, Atlantic City's Ocean Resort Casino will have to get their casino license. The hearing for that will take place Wednesday.
The Ocean Resort will present their case to the New Jersey Casino Control Commission Wednesday, and Thursday if necessary, with the hopes of attaining a casino license.
It had a previous life as Revel, which was shut down in September 2014. Colorado developer Bruce Deifik bought it that following January and proceeded to gut it and change what the public initially didn't like about the casino, along with the name.
Some of the changes include a buffet that will start in the winter, a reconfigured casino floor, and smoking will be allowed.
Ocean Resort Casino and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City are set to open their doors June 28th.
