N. Wildwood, New Jersey and Anglesea are the places to be in July if you want to experience the best BBQ there is.

Not only is this event a festival, but it's also a championship with prizes on the line for the state's top grillers.

When is the BBQ Festival in Wildwood, NJ?

Nothing goes together quite so well as barbecue and blues music. You'll find the best of both in one weekend July 12th through July 14th in N. Wildwood.

It's finger-licking OMG. Whether you're a pulled pork or chicken fan, ribs fan, even a cornbread and mac 'n cheese fan, that and more is waiting for you at the NJ State BBQ Championship.

The event is FREE to attend! The 3-day festival happens at 2nd and Olde New Jersey Avenues in N. Wildwood. In additional to block after block of award-worthy BBQ, there are live cooking demos and elite regional and national blues music performances. Even the town's surrounding pubs get in on the action.

Grill Masters Go for the Championship at BBQ Festival in N. Wildwood, NJ

The New Jersey State BBQ Championship & Anglesea Blues Festival at 2nd and Olde New Jersey Avenues in N. Wildwood, NJ takes place Friday, July 12th from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday, July 13th from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday, July 14th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
