NJ Cops: Men Broke into Lower Township NJ Marina, Drilled Holes in Boat Hulls
Well, this is weird.
New Jersey State Police are asking for the public's help in identifying two men caught on security cameras in a Lower Township, Cape May County, marina.
Police say the two men broke into a locked Light House Pointe Marina just after 11 am on Wednesday, October 13. State Police say the men went to the "A Dock" at the marina where they damaged two boats.
They drilled holes into the hulls of two different boats. Police say the two then left the scene in two different vehicles: a white Ford pickup and a silver SUV.
New Jersey State Police have provided the security camera photos and identified the men as follows: "The first male suspect was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a blue tee-shirt, khaki shorts, and carrying a black backpack. The second male suspect was last seen wearing a grey skull cap and long-sleeve black shirt." (Yes, the photos are poor quality.)
If you can help authorities with any information on the case, you're asked to call the Marine Services Bureau - Atlantic City Station at 609-441-3589. You can make an anonymous tip.
