Minnie John recently took what she called a 'bucket list' trip with her husband and son to Arches National Park, 6abc.com reports, and was on a trek to Delicate Arch when she blacked out.

John reportedly fell face first onto a rock and bumped her head. Once she regained consciousness, John realized she was in the care of some very famous hands, who were helping to rehydrate her. Actress Julie Bowen, who played Claire Dunphy on ABC's 'Modern Family' for 11 seasons, happened to be on the same hike with her own sister. As luck would have it, Julie's sister Annie is a doctor.

It took John a minute to realize who Julie was, even though she recognized her voice before she recognized her face.

In a Facebook post, the Bergen County, New Jersey native wrote. 'As my eyes started to focus more, she smiled and took her hair tie off and shook her hair for me to figure out. Her sister the doctor asked me to guess and I told her I just hit my head, I can't remember. She said smiling 'Modern Family' and I said of course! I told her she was so beautiful. She introduced me to her sister Annie, the doctor, and she is of course Julie Bowen! They explained to me that the guide who was with the them, saw me fall forward splat on my face. My glasses broke my fall flat down, hitting my head on the flat rock breaking my skin on various areas near my nose.'

John's husband and son had gone ahead of her on the hiking trail before she fainted. Fellow hikers alerted them to what happened to Minnie, and I bet they were just as surprised as she was to see Julie Bowen on the scene. And, unlike her neurotic 'Modern Family' character Claire Dunphy, helping out calm, cool, and collected.

Whatever Happened to Actor Brendan Fraser?

I can only imagine what it must have been like to wake up and see Julie Bowen staring back at me. I'd have thought I hit my head much harder and was hallucinating, lol. Glad Minnie wasn't more seriously injured.

The Best Movies Released in the '90s

To celebrate the incredible cinematic achievements of the decade, Stacker compiled data on all 1990s movies to come up with a Stacker score—a weighted index split evenly between IMDb and Metacritic scores. To qualify, the film had to have a premiere date between 1990 and 1999, have a Metascore, and have at least 1,000 votes. Ties were broken by Metascore and further ties were broken by votes.
