New Jersey might be seeing a 'Pink Moon' Thursday night into Friday morning, say what?

Yeah, I'm sorry it was too good to be true. I got really excited when I saw this on NJ.com, but turns out there's no such thing as a 'pink moon!' Sigh.

A 'Pink Moon' is actually just a nickname for the April full moon, symbolizing the start of spring and pink-colored flowers blooming this time of year. I'll admit, that's my favorite start of spring too, but a pink moon would've been cool to see too!

BUT, you can still expect to see a full moon glowing in the night sky this Friday, April 22 which is always a beautiful sight.

NJ.com also says that unfortunately for astronomy lovers, the Lyrid meteor shower may be dimmed by the full moon's light.

Still, pretty cool!
