In a recent study, Brainly, the world’s largest online learning space, surveyed 1,000 students in the U.S. to learn more about their schoolwork plans load during the fall break.

62 percent of students in the Garden State report receiving assignments over the holiday. However, overall, 55 percent of all students surveyed don't actually plan to study, lol.
The top 10 states that have homework over Thanksgiving break:
- Oregon — 71%
- New York — 64%
- New Jersey — 62%
- Colorado — 60%
- Arizona — 59%
- Massachusetts — 58%
- Tennessee — 58%
- California — 57%
- Illinois — 55%
- Georgia — 54%
The study also asked American students what they were thankful for at school, and 56 percent said teachers that try to make learning fun.
