New Jersey native Felicia Zhang is about to live her Olympic dream.  Just a few months ago the figure skater and her pairs partner Nathan Bartholomay won the silver medal in the U.S. Figure Skating Championships, securing their spot on the Olympics team.

20-year old Zhang grew up in Plainsboro Township, New Jersey and graduated from West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South in June 2011.

Pursuing her passing for skating since 2000, Felicia has been steadily climbing the ladder in the world of competition, thanks most recently to the bond she's formed with ice partner Nathan Bartholomay, also a local athlete from Newtown, Pennsylvania.

Over the past few years, the pair has won several medals, including bronze at the 2013 U.S. Figure Skating Championships.

Just weeks ago during the 2014 U.S. Championships, Zhang and Bartholomay (who now represent the Skating Club of New York) skated one of their most epic programs ever, scoring them the silver medal, finishing ahead of veterans Caydee Denney and John Coughlin, and guaranteeing a trip to Sochi, Russia for a shot at Olympic gold.

I love having locals to root for in a place as far away as Russia.  Go Felicia!
