Wait till you find out what we broke......

A total of 336 students at Hawthorne High School have broken the world record for the most people popping bubble wrap at the same time!

It only took two-minutes to pop as much bubble wrap as possible and more than 8,000 square feet of the packing material.

Before you say 'what kind of school wastes their time on bubble wrap?' (which you shouldn't even ask that silly question)  this bubble busting event was held to celebrate the thirteenth annual Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day and raise money for Sandy Hook Elementary School.

Oh, and here's a 'Do You Know' tidbit:  Bubble Wrap was actually invented in Hawthorne.  Only in the Garden State will you find such cool concepts, because after all, who doesn't love popping bubble wrap???
