My Delivery Guy Decision
I had to make a quick decision on whether to tip a South Jersey delivery guy yesterday, due to what he said.
When the delivery guy drove up to my apartment building, I received a phone call that he arrived.
I walked downstairs.
I greeted him at the front door. The first thing out of his mouth was "I called you, I've been waiting here 10 minutes."
At first, I looked at him puzzled.
Then he immediately changed his story as he said, "Five Minutes...I waited". (I guess he decided to be nice and cut the wait time)
I responded with "I literally just walked down the stairs, and it was only two minutes.", followed by some sort of sarcasm.
I tipped him five bucks.
A part of me regrets it.
