Miss America 2018 Names Final Celebrity Judge for Sunday’s Pageant

Miss America Pageant Week 2018 is finally underway!

The preliminary competition takes place starting this Wednesday through Friday. The “Show Us Your Shoes” Parade happens this Saturday, September 9th on the AC Boardwalk and the 2018 Miss America competition will be live from Boardwalk Hall, and live on ABC-TV is this Sunday night, September 10th, beginning at 9 PM.

The Press of Atlantic City reports that the 7th and final celebrity judge has been named Sunday night's pageant.

Olympic gold medal ice skater and broadcaster Tara Lipinski will take a seat at the judges' table along with music stars Thomas Rhett and Jordin Sparks, Jess Cagle from People Magazine, Molly Simms, Maria Menounos and Nina Davaluri, Miss America 2014! Lipinski took home gold in the 1998 Winter Olympics from Nagano, Japan.

Best of luck to all the contestants, including our own Miss New Jersey who was actually born in Atlantic City, Kaitlyn Schoeffel of Egg Harbor Township!
