Military Flare Washes Up on Margate Beach

A mysterious object found on the Margate Beach, ended up bringing a quick response from the local bomb squad.

A fisherman found the device near the water on the Cedar Grove Ave beach.   "Upon further investigation, it was discovered it was a phosphorous flare used by the military."  (NBC40).

The device was most likely used for training purposes.
