Max Levy suffers with hemophilia, where his blood is unable to clot or produce scabs. As a result, Max needed a semi-permanent port implanted in his chest so doctors can administer drugs faster and efficiently.

After seeing Iron Man in theaters, Max's father thought the superhero was the best way to explain to Max the port in his chest. Max's response? 'I get to be Iron Man?' Haha I would've said the same thing.

According to Newsworks, once Marvel Comics heard about Max's intence love for 'Iron Man', they decided to write him into the story!

After a year, Max is doing much better but Iron Man still remains one of his favorites. Max's character appears on four pages of Iron Man #4 where Tony Stark visits a children's hospital, so keep an eye out!

Such an awesome story right here in South Jersey! So many young children only dream of being part of their favorite comic book.
