McDonald’s Will (FINALLY!) Test Drive All-Day Breakfast
Who says dreams don't come true? McDonald's bacon, egg and cheese biscuit and hash brown for dinner? OH YEAH! McD's is finally answering the call of it's breakfast food fans, serving the morning meals all day beginning in April.
Just last month McDonald's tweeted that they don't serve breakfast all day because their kitchen grills just aren't big enough to accommodate breakfast and lunch. A statement that frankly left me shaking my head, because I usually just see my biscuit getting warmed up in a microwave, lol.
So why the change of heart?
The company said that the all-day breakfast test, beginning Wednesday, is in response to customers who have said they'd like to eat breakfast foods later than the standard morning hours, which ends sharply at 10:30 a.m.
But don't get TOO excited. The test will include a partial menu and, for the time being, will only be conducted at McDonald's restaurants in San Diego, California. The company didn't say which breakfast items would make the cut, or if the test would be issued in other markets.
Here's hoping to a successful experiment, because I'm ready for a McMuffin for linner.
