Man Rides a Horse to Jersey Wawa

Sometimes traffic can just become too much. For this mystery man, it was easier to get to Wawa by horse.

This picture was taken today by a listener who said that people stopped in their tracks as the man pulled his horse into the convenience store parking lot. Apparently, he's a regular at this Wawa on Route 9 South in Howell (Monmouth County). But, who is he? Why does he travel by horse?
