
Macy’s Set To Reopen 80 Select Stores for Memorial Day Weekend
Macy's plans on opening even more select stores after temporarily being shut down amid concerns from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The retail giant opened 68 stores at the end of April in locations where restrictions from the coronavirus were lifted. So far, 190 stores have been opened since closing their doors in the middle of March.
According to USA Today the next 80 stores to open around the country will do so this Friday to kick off the big Memorial Day Weekend.
The goal from the company is to have all 551 locations opened by the of June including all New Jersey locations which are still temporarily closed due to the pandemic.
Currently there are 24 Macy's locations in the Garden State including Mays Landing, Deptford Township, Toms River, and Cherry Hill.
Last week Governor Murphy announced that nonessential stores may reopen with curbside pick up only.
