Katy Perry Sets Hair on Fire [VIDEO]

Katy Perry's new single will be called "Roar." The singer announced the news in an unusual video signifying that she's putting her past behind her -- including her signature fashion statements.

In the video, Katy flicks on a gold lighter, and then defiantly sets fire to the blue wig that she wore throughout the videos and concerts she did for her Teenage Dream album.

According to the video, "Roar" will be out August 12.  Katy's album Prism is due October 22.
